El reto consiste en comer una rodaja de limón, grabar en video la reacción que tengas y subirlo a las redes sociales para hacer conciencia y recaudar fondos para combatir un cáncer agresivo
En redes sociales se viralizó el “Lemon Face Challenge”, el cual busca crear conciencia así como recaudar fondos para la lucha contra del glioma pontino intrínseco difuso (DIPG, por sus siglas en inglés), el cual es un tipo de cáncer agresivo.
El reto consiste en comer una rodaja de limón, grabar en video la reacción que tengas y subirlo a las redes sociales.
El DIPG es un tumor ubicado en la parte inferior del cerebro, en la zona donde conecta con la médula espinal, el cual es prácticamente imposible acceder para removerlo o combatirlo por medio de quimioterapias.
Dicho video ha sido viralizado por figuras del deporte de los Estados Unidos, como Nick Saban, entrenador de futbol americano por la Universidad de Alabama, además del equipo de Los Angeles Dodgers, equipo perteneciente a la Major League Baseball (MLB).
